Deze studie op Business R&D in Vlaanderen is verdeeld in drie hoofdstukken. In het methodologische gedeelte wordt uitgelegd hoe de officiële O&O-statistieken worden berekend. De doelgroep wordt beschreven in een 'repertoire', maar een statistische correctie werd toegepast voor onopgemerkte O& O-activiteiten door middel van een steekproef bij de rest van het bedrijfsbevolking.
